Image and Font Resources for Your POD or Printables Business
This post contains affiliate links which means if you make a purchase using these links a portion of any sales goes to help support this blog at no additional cost to you. However, I only promote products that I know and love and use myself. You can find more info here.
I love having a printables and POD business on the side from my day job. Once you create an asset, you can sell it again and again with no extra work. Then if you put a little effort behind promoting your products you can sell even more.
You are not making the product after each sale, so there is a lot less upkeep compared to some other businesses. Instead, you can use your “work” time to create new designs for sale.
That said, coming up with the imagery and fonts for your designs can be difficult. While there are sites with free for commercial use images like Pixabay.com and Canva.com, this also means that a lot of other people will also be using those images and fonts.
On the other hand, you may not want to purchase expensive image packages and fonts, especially when you are starting out. You may still be homing your design skills and you don’t know what will and won’t sell.
That’s why I wanted to share with you two of my favorite sites for purchasing design elements and fonts. They are Design Bundles and Font Bundles. As always, It’s important to look at the license for any particular image or font you wish to use for product design, but I have found tons of amazing fonts and design elements to use in my products including shirts, invitations, cards, decorations, and so much more.
Design Bundles
Design Bundles is the place to find a variety of design elements for your printables or products. Not only are they great for creating printables or print on demand designs, many of them also include cut files for cricut machines and other craft machines.
Below are just a few examples of the design elements you can find there.
Every once in a while they have an amazing limited time $1 sale of various designs. They also regularly have deals and even free designs. They are definitely a great resource for creating fun and unique designs for your products.
Font Bundles
The sister site of Design Bundles is Font Bundles. This is the place to find cool fonts for word based designs on t-shirts, but also for the text on decor items, printables, and just about anything else where test is part of the design.
Here you can find graffiti fonts, script fonts, handwritten fonts, and so much more. Below you can see just a few of the available fonts.
Just like on Design Bundles, here you can often find deals and freebies on this site as well. Combined they are an awesome resource for designers and crafters alike.
