The New York Baby Show is coming up in May and I am super excited! It is the biggest show for new and expectant parents in the country. Last year I was able to snag free tickets, however, Hailey was born just over a week before the show and we just couldn't get it together to go. This year, nothing is standing in our way!! Check what we are getting excited about and then learn how you can win some free tickets for yourself!!
The 2017 New York Baby Show will be taking place on May 20th and 21st at Pier 94 in NYC. This is the 7th year of the event so they really have it down to a science. No other event provides a better experience for thousands of expectant moms and young families. Families from NYC as well as the neighboring counties come together to learn about top brands, hear from amazing speakers, win big giveaways, and more. There are tons of opportunities for learning, support, bonding and of course fun. With that said, I am planning ahead to make the most out of our day at the show.
What We Want to Hear
There are always fabulous speakers at this event that we are excited to hear from. You can check out the list current confirmed speakers for the 2017 event as well as past speakers here. Confirmed from last year is Jamie Grayson, The BabyGuy. He is an expert on baby products and founder of the BabyGuy Gear Guide. We are super excited to hear his talk. The second confirmed speaker is Dr. Harvey Karp, a top baby expert and a trusted pediatrician. He is the creator and author of the landmark books and DVD series “The Happiest Baby On The Block” and “The Happiest Toddler on the Block.” Dr. Karp is sure to provide great information as well.
What Brands We Want to See
There are going to be a ton of brands at the New York Baby Show. Far too many for me to list. If you are curious, you can check out the full list here. Some of the brands we are most excited to see include 4moms, Giggle, Happy Family, Hotmilk, Munchkin, and Plum Organics. One of our favorite resources, Baby Center, is one of the sponsors of the event, so we will definitely have to check them out. The other two sponsors are also favorites of ours: DK Books and Babyletto. I am super excited to see what these companies will be exhibiting.
While we will definitely be checking out the above brands, I am also excited to learn about new brands that we aren't, but probably should be using. There are so many products and brands out there, we are looking forward to using this as an opportunity to learn about new things.
